Connor’s passion for music extends beyond the stage and into the classroom. His private teaching studio invites students to study the traditions of jazz, composition, and instrumental performance at all levels from beginners to advanced. Having been mentored by some of the best musical educators and programs, Connor offers insight into the path of learning how to play a variety of instruments and musical styles.

Connor’s past students have won a variety of awards and competitions: top chair spots in the all-state bands, acclaimed soloist awards at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Essentially Ellington competition, and scholarships into the top conservatories in the world, such as the Manhattan School of Music.

Students interested in learning how to play the saxophone, flute, clarinet, and piano can all inquire below, as well as those wishing to touch on more advanced topics such as jazz improvisation, composition, and sight-reading.
